The New Ashgate Gallery Trust is dedicated to promote and champion the best contemporary art and craft in the market place and to provide an unparalleled resource in Farnham, Surrey and beyond. It raises aspirations and inspires excellence. The trust delivers exhibitions and projects in the gallery and the community, fostering emerging artists and supporting diverse participation in arts. As a not-for-profit organisation, the gallery relies on sales from exhibitions and donations to further charitable aims and programme.
The summer season begins with three new exhibitions: Ceramics Now is a national event celebrating the diversity and excellence in contemporary studio pottery. Hester Berry's Horizons explores the pleasures of the great outdoors, painted in recycled materials. The affordable Craft Collection is for all novice and expert collectors of the quality crafts who wish to find affordable yet a unique piece of craft - also, providing perfect gift ideas.
Partnership for UCA and New Ashgate Gallery
The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and the New Ashgate Gallery announce a new partnership. A Memorandum of Agreement was signed on 22 March 2013 and will enable UCA students to show and sell more work at the gallery.

Collect art and craft with Own Art
Own Art is a national interest free loan scheme for buying art and craft (representative 0% APR). Own Art loans allow you to borrow from as little as £100 up to a maximum of £2,000 for the purchase of works of art by living artists. It can be used to cover a group of lower value items whose combined total adds up to £100 or more. If you are buying something more valuable than £2,000 you can use an Own Art loan as a part payment. Own Art Application is made with the customer in the gallery, and complete in 15 minutes. Please contact the gallery for terms and conditions.
Angels and Patrons: friendship scheme and discounts
Angels and Patrons support the charity. Patrons receive priority invitations to events and previews of exhibitions with artists. In addition, Angels receive a 10% discount on art and craftwork purchases for 12 months. Become a Patron for £25 a year or an Angel for an additional £35 per year. The gallery welcomes new members. Commissions, wedding lists and gift vouchers
• Commission a dream artwork from a wedding ring to a portrait. Tell us if you have an idea or size of painting in mind.
• Wedding lists: Are you not looking forward to receiving a new iron or a toaster? We offer a personalised wedding list - guests can buy a piece outright or make a contribution. To start a wedding or gift list, simply contact Alison or Elizabeth who will send out complimentary cards to inform friends and family.
• Gift vouchers for original artworks at any amount for any occasion. Contributions can be made phone or at the gallery.

Ruta Brown, jeweller in residence
Ruta's work is available in the Jewellery Room and Ruta's studio. Ruta is specialized in the technique of reticulation. Directional heat is applied to forged, folded forms, each piece individually fabricated. The results are a variety of intricate, marine like forms, incorporating stones and pearls.
