The Own Art scheme makes buying art affordable by letting you spread the cost of your purchase over 10 months with an interest free loan, representative 0% APR. Own Art allow you to borrow from as little as £100 up to a maximum of £2,500 repayable over 10 months.

The aims of the scheme are:

To promote the presentation and sale of high quality works of art through a network of visual arts venues and galleries across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland
To support contemporary artists by encouraging increased sales of work across a breadth of practice.

It allow you to borrow from as little as £100 up to a maximum of £2,500 for the purchase of works of art by living artists. Own Art can also be used for art and craft commissions - you can have a piece made direct from an artist or maker specifically for you. Ask the gallery team about commissions

It takes about 10 minutes to complete an Own Art application and you can collect your artwork immediately. No deposit is necessary when applying for an Own Art loan.
