Berangere Noyau

Berangere's first experience with pottery was in 1999 in California. After a few years without, she went back to using clay through workshops and classes to finally take the plunge recently and started her own work.

Both hand built and thrown using stoneware and earthenware, Berangere's work is decorative and functional. She glazes and fires most domestic ware in an electric kiln but also uses burnishing and smoke fired techniques on some decorative pieces to obtain deep - and always surprising colours.

Now living and working in France, Berangere previously lived in Woking and took part in Surrey Open Studios.
