Harry Chadwick is a sculptural artist, working predominantly in metal and glass. Harry seamlessly melds craftsmanship with artistic ingenuity, specialising in welding, folding, and forming metal into intricate sculptural pieces that capture passing light with a dynamic sense of movement.
Drawing inspiration from his previous career as an engineer, welder, and fabricator, Harry's sculptures feature familiar silhouettes of tools, meticulously cut from steel and powder-coated in vibrant colours. Pop Art colours running through all the artworks is his common theme of bringing colour and joy into people's lives.
Each of Harry's creations is designed to prompt introspection, evoke nostalgia, and occasionally, simply elicit a 'why?' from the viewer. He is committed to fostering discussion and believes that art should serve as a catalyst for bringing people together through meaningful conversations.
Harry utilised the Rising Stars award money towards the purchase of much-needed grinding discs for his glass grinder, a crucial tool. It is used for his new work 'Seers' which is an observation of the human condition and each observer may interpret them differently, depending on how they feel and perceive them.

'UNASHAMED' is a profound exploration into the human experience through the medium of hand-built ceramics. At its core lies the narratives of individuals, both unique and universal, whose stories serve as the inspiration for each meticulously crafted piece.
Throughout the creative process, Su seeks to foster physical and emotional exchanges, responding intuitively to the materials and the underlying narrative. Each ceramic form is imbued with layers of meaning and texture, inviting viewers to engage in contemplation and individual interpretation.
Expression is pursued through a variety of stoneware clays, including porcelain, black, and crank, each chosen for its unique qualities. These clays are manipulated using slab and direct modeling techniques, with marks and textures impressed upon them to evoke a sense of raw authenticity.
As the collection takes shape, Su draws inspiration from earthy hues, employing slips, engobes, oxides, and glazes to enhance the surfaces and imbue them with depth and character. The culmination of these elements promises to evoke a sense of connection and resonance, inviting viewers to explore the nuances of human emotion and experience.

Trevor Price, a distinguished printmaker renowned for his finely detailed drypoint and engraved relief prints, as well as large-scale woodcuts, continues to push the boundaries of printmaking. Armed with chisels, blades, and power tools, Trevor carves and engraves woodblocks and polycarbonate sheets, infusing each surface with a depth of texture and emotion.
In his most recent works, Trevor's dedication to handmade and hand-printed pieces shines through. Utilising a delicate process involving a 2mm polycarbonate sheet, he carves and scrapes the plate with a drypoint needle and a dremel, a technique both time-consuming and unforgiving. Once ink is meticulously rolled over the surface, the plate is pressed with damp paper, resulting in prints that invite viewers to lose themselves in the intricate mark-making and abstract forms. From a distance, Trevor's prints reveal highly representational compositions, almost resembling sepia-toned photographs, while up close, viewers are drawn into a world of intricate details and captivating abstractions. Some pieces are further enhanced with stained paper, evoking a sense of antiquity and nostalgia.
Born in 1966, Trevor's career includes being elected as a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers in 1994, where he later served as Vice President from 2013 to 2018. His work is celebrated in esteemed collections worldwide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and the Guangdong Museum of Art in China, among others. Trevor's accolades include multiple national printmaking awards. In 2020, he undertook a significant commission by China's National Academy of Painting.
Splitting his time between a studio near Tower Bridge in London and the vibrant artist community of St. Ives in Cornwall, Price's artistic vision is informed by the juxtaposition of urban dynamism and coastal tranquility. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Price's commitment to community shines through as a qualified lifeguard, actively involved in coaching children at the St. Ives Surf Life Saving Club.
