Sally Anne Fitter studied Ceramics at Bristol Art School gaining a 1st Class BA Hons. She later went on to study Textile Design and eventually set up a London based Design Studio with clients such as Monsoon, Liberty's and Laura Ashley.
Sally works mainly in acrylic on canvas, layering and working into the paint to create texture. Her training as a textile designer is evident in the use of pattern and decoration, sometimes incorporating collage and gold leaf.
She made the logical transition from textile design to painting several years ago and now exhibit widely around the UK. Sally's work is held in private collections in the UK and abroad and is shown at major Art Fairs in London and galleries around the country.
