Victoria Potts

Victoria Potts is a Dundee based illustrator and textile designer who recently graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Through her delicate watercolour paintings inspired by British ?ora and fauna Victoria uses her practice to encourage people to evaluate the effects of plastic pollution on the environment. Her love of nature comes from a childhood spent by the river with her Dad waiting for the brilliant ?ash of a King?sher in ?ight, or the evenings spent nose pressed against her bedroom window watching a family of foxes make their way through the garden at dusk. Her illustrations hold memories of a time when animals were free to live without the dangers of plastic waste and they aim to remind people of the beauty the natural world holds.
