This exhibition celebrates fresh, innovative and bespoke craft and is part of our programme to exhibit some of the most exciting makers to art lovers and collectors.
The makers in this exhibition have previously been selected for the Crafts Council's prestigious Hothouse programme that offers support and mentoring for new makers wishing to break into the sector. This is an opportunity to invest in the future of British crafts and to celebrate past Hothouse participants who have turned their passion for making into successful businesses.
The makers include: Aimee Bollu, Elaine Bolt, Charles Dedman, Tim Evershed, Stella Harding, Christina Hesford, Verity Howard, Emma Johnson, Catriona Mackenzie, Tina MacLeod, Heather McDermott, Jode Pankhurst, Angie Parker, Lauren Taylor, Jessica Thorn, Theo Wright and Cristina Zani.
Jode Pankhurst is an artist based in South East London. She currently works in porcelain to create bespoke collections of bold and playful ceramic vessels and small sculptures. She is also working on a collection of collages and paintings, soon to be available as prints. Her work is stocked through a selection of shops and galleries in the UK and beyond.
