Jennie Jackson
Jennie Jackson is a textile artist who uses traditional screen-printing techniques to create unique contemporary designs which are applied to lampshades, cushions, and accessories.
After graduating from Norwich School of Art (now NUA) with a degree in Graphic Design, Jennie spent ten years working for London design agencies before retraining in textiles and print. Her knowledge of design and colour now informs her textile practice and she works mostly on linen and natural fabrics.
Jennie loves to use traditional, hand printing techniques. Using paper cut stencils and multiple layering processes, her distinctive designs evoke a timeless and contemporary mid-century feel.
