Laura De Benedetti

Flowing, free-spirited forms, hand-thrown in porcelain, are both informal and resilient, soft in shape but crystalline hard in use. Laura's unique glazes glow with the colours of the Mediterranean, radiating warmth and depth. She makes pots to be admired and displayed, and also to be used every day. Each piece awaits food and drink, enriching your table and your home.

Her work is inspired by the vibrant, subtle colours of the Italian coastline in Liguria where she grew up and by the shapes and motives of local architecture. The sea and the sky, the sand and the rock, the flashes of colour from cliff-top wild flowers and the mysterious shades of dawn and sunset are reflected in her multi-layered crystalline glazes.
