Annette Bugansky, a designer-maker with a growing reputation for textured surface design. Bugansky has drawn on architectural sources for inspiration for the new work which comprises a range of vases, bowls, tea lights, pendant light shades and table top items. The new range continues Bugansky's interest in knitted textures.
Bugansky's limited edition knit-textured porcelain Christmas decorations are a highly desirable addition in any contemporary interior at Christmas time, or even all year round! Also featured is a collection of porcelain buttons. The buttons are hand made and finished and are available in six different textures.
Annette graduated from Central St Martins, London in 2005 with an MA in Ceramic Design. Bugansky started her career as a fashion and textile designer, working with her family for Saville Row where her father was a freelance tailor. Today Bugansky combines this textile past and her passion for texture and surface pattern with beautiful tactile forms that are then hand produced in Porcelain in her London Studio. In the collection, Bugansky brings the soft elements of knitted textures together with contemporary form. Annette merges traditional home crafts with ceramics. The result is a beautiful collection of textured surfaces fossilized into a time capsule for future generations to enjoy.
In addition to her unique signature collection of knit textured porcelain vases, tableware and lighting Annette Bugansky enjoys designing for clients both nationally and internationally. Annette specialises in ceramic design, consultancy and small batch production and is happy to work on commissions with private, commercial and corporate clients.
