Biography
Lisa uses repeated forms and patterns found in nature that may mean something specific to her, however she likes the idea of the viewer interpreting the work in their own way. Lisa likes her pieces to evoke a memory or connection to a place, object or feeling. Through the 'Citrus' collection she tries to translate her feeling and connection with Italy, a country which she recently explored for 10 months and stole her heart. The ancient technique of Keum Boo (fusing 24ct gold to silver using only heat and pressure) is central to this collection, creating shimmers and contrasting shapes like plays of light through the trees in a sunny Piazza.
