Emily Collins

Biography

After studying for an MA in Silversmithing and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art in 2000 Emily went on to work at the internationally renowned Electrum Gallery in London.

Emily hand-makes contemporary precious jewellery for everyday wear. She likes to use simple forms with subtle surface textures. Often working in sets, Emily explore ideas of differences and similarities, of shape, colour and proportion. Her necklaces, earstuds, cufflinks and rings are made using combinations of fine silver and many colours of rich golds, including yellows, reds and white gold. Some pieces also include small white diamonds and fresh colours of faceted green and blue gemstones.

Emily works from her home near Alton in Hampshire
