Anti-Money Laundering Policy

Anti-Money Laundering Policy

We are governed by the Office of Fair Trading.

We shall comply with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations and codes relating to anti-bribery, anti-corruption and tax evasion and shall not engage in any activity, practice or conduct which would constitute tax evasion (meaning any conduct that constitutes any criminal offence of tax evasion or facilitation of tax evasion in any jurisdiction, including the tax evasion facilitation offences under section 45(1) and 46(1) of the Criminal Finances Act 2017) or offer, give or receive bribes or enter into corrupt actions or any other action deemed to be an offence under the Bribery Act 2010 as amended.

We will also comply with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations, 2017 (as amended).

We will ensure that our acceptance levels for cash transactions are on a risk-based approach and that we are aware of the Source of Funds obligations.

It is our shared responsibility to ensure that we know who our client is and that the funds used to purchase art are clean.

To reduce the risk of Money Laundering and tax evasion, we have introduced a cash limit of £1,500.00 in any single transaction, even with an ID.

If you have any questions please contact the Gallery Director.
