Adriane Wysocki

Adriane Wysocki is a glass artist who moved to England from Germany in 2010. She works as a glassblowing assistant in London as well as producing her own blown glass vessels.

The keepsake or memory box has long been used to store artefacts and mementos from a special time, a certain event or from a particular person. Memory boxes can contain things to mark a major milestone in life or they can contain a secret collection of private memories, but they are always exquisite vessels in their own right.

This new collection of memento vessels is inspired by the special treasure boxes of my childhood, where we stored our precious things and nurtured our prized collections. The collections gradually blossomed and matured over time to become cherished memories as well as special objects.

The natural forms of fruits and blooms reflect this growth and development, whilst the hand-making process ensures that each piece is unique.
