Trevor Price is one of our favourite artists - he specialises in drypoints and etchings that are handmade and hand printed in his studios in London and St. Ives. For this exhibition, he has also created a new body of paintings, unseen before.
Trevor studied at Falmouth and Winchester Schools of Art. He is a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and is currently the societies Vice President. Trevor exhibits widely throughout Europe and has won several national printmaking awards, and in 2011 at Printfest, the art fair dedicated to printmaking, he became the 'Printmaker of the Year'. His work is held in various collections including the Ashmolean Museum (Oxford), Guangdong Museum of Art (China), Yale University (USA), the Office of Public Works (Dublin), and the Bank of England.
Trevor's work will be shown with fantastic wire sculptures by Jane Clift. She is based in Dartmouth where she creates birds and small animals. Jane uses lots of different wire using this medium as others would use a pencil to sketch her sculptures which are a celebration of movement, grace and humour.
