Linda Bloomfield trained as an engineer and worked for NEC in Japan and at Imperial College, London before becoming a potter. She now works from her studio at home in West London, throwing functional ware in porcelain and firing in an electric kiln. She is interested in glaze development, particularly satin matt glazes. She sells her work through shops, galleries and craft shows in London and the South-east and West.
