"My work is inspired by historical jewellery, antique books and their gold-tooled cover patterns, the theme of memory and archaeological finds. Etching allows fragments of historical patterns or text to be reproduced on the metal. Combining etched patterns with simple outlines, I aim to translate these themes into contemporary, wearable jewellery."
