Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at the New Ashgate Gallery. While we primarily program artists and makers through solicited studio and exhibition visits, we are open to considering new submissions. To be considered for an exhibition, kindly follow our selection procedure:
Submit your proposal by email, including:
- 3-5 digital images of your work (low res. jpegs)
- Short CV
- Price list
- Short artist statement
- Website link
Do not send physical materials or samples. We schedule exhibitions 12-24 months in advance, and the Craft Collection is programmed 6-12 months ahead.
Our open call for the spring Rising Stars exhibition (craft students and recent graduates) occurs every November to December, with details posted on our website.
Address your correspondence to gallery@newashgate.org.uk, with 'Exhibition Proposal - New Ashgate Gallery' in the subject field.
While we consider all proposals, we respond only to artists whose work aligns with our exhibition objectives. Please allow up to three months for our reply. If we wish to view your work further, we'll contact you to arrange a visit or invite you to the gallery. Unfortunately, we cannot view work without a pre-arranged appointment and prior digital review.
For external hires, the Balcony Gallery is available for up to three months, and we welcome inquiries from both professional and emerging artists. Refer to our leaflet or contact us for a quote.
