The New Ashgate Gallery Trust, a charitable organisation established in 1959, is devoted to curating and promoting art and craft.
For over six decades, we have supported emerging artists and encouraged community participation through free exhibitions, craft workshops, and professional practice seminars. We curate 20 annual exhibitions, showcasing the most exciting artists in painting, print, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, glass, and wood, while actively launching early career talent. We offer a free community programme of crafts to inspire and engage.
Our all-year exhibition program is more than just showcasing art; it is supporting artists through professional, business, and audience development, elevating aspirations. In addition, we engage in outreach and gallery workshops, ensuring inclusivity and diversity.
Stay tuned for exciting opportunities for artists posted online. Watch this space for updates on exhibition calls for proposals and specialised events tailored for artists.
